Rev. Myungso Lee, Pastor
Rev. Myungso Lee serves as pastor of Readfield United Methodist Church. She is a provisional elder in the United Methodist Church. Myungso earned her Master of Divinity from Boston University School of Theology and previously pastored churches in Vermont before moving to Maine.
She believes that God welcomes everyone as a beloved child of God and feels called to create a nurturing community where people can grow in faith, share love, and walk together in hope.
She and her husband are raising their young daughter, and they enjoy walking with their cream Labrador, Namu.
Wendy Large, Music Director
Wendy Large has been music director of the Readfield United Methodist Church since 2023 after a 45 year career as a bassoonist and private music teacher in NJ, where she also served as music director of the United Methodist Church in Roseland, NJ. She also currently teaches at the Elm City Community Music School in Waterville.
Wendy is humbled and grateful to be a part of music ministry. She believes that music has a special power to connect people to God and to each other, and to magnify the message of every service.
Wendy loves living in Maine, where she can be near her family and where she has found such a special church family.
